Cadet - Hiring Process

Application process

To join the LSPD you must submit your CV for consideration at https://www.lsgov.co/join-lspd or appear in person and request an interview.

End to end recruitment process

  • CV is submitted and can be seen in the Email system under "applications"

  • CV reviewed by someone from leadership https://www.info-hub.co/pd/applications

  • Leadership member reaches out to arrange interview with 2x members of leadership and the candidate using /lspd interview <discord name>

  • Interview is conducted using interview process sheet in the training handbook

  • Cadet is hired

  • Hire them on the phone app

  • Ask them to create an account on the infohub using <Firstname>.<Surname>

  • Create them a profile and begin to fill in the training sheet

  • From Manage users set them to "LSPD"

  • Within the discord PD OOC channel type "/lspd recruit <Discord name>"

  • Cadet is given clothing

  • Cadet is inducted for basic firearms and given all equipment

  • Cadet can begin ride along with officer and above while they wait for Police Academy
