Introduction to the training at MRPD.

- Ensure all on 91.1

- Ensure all 10-6

- Introduce EMS

- Collected required equipment

- Updated weapon serial numbers in profile

- Weapons training for the combat PDW and Shotgun

- Training will give you the confidence to use the weapons optimally

- Training will focus on giving you the skills to be an asset in the field

- The training will allow you to demonostrate leadership qualities on planning and executing a breach

- Provide you with situation and tactical awareness

- Training will be scenario based live fire training with after action feedback

- The objective of the scenarios is to demonstrate tactical and situations awareness, teamwork and planning. Its not about who is the best shot.

- Situations will be fluid, so stay liquid and if the leader goes down then ensure someone picks up the rains

- Carry either the combat PDWor shotgun when on duty not both!

- Follow SOPS and dont just run and gun!

Move to the Range

Combat PDW - .45 ACP (11mm)

- Send 311 to disregardshots fired MRPD

- Allow each trainee to discharge 1x clip of the combat PDW from the gallery at the range (25m)

- Observe the spray patterns and discuss damage to the targets

Optimal Use case: Short to medium range (corridor pusher)

Optimal range: upto 75m (16 bullets)

Max range: 150m

TTK: 8 - 20 bullets depending on range.

Notes: Little recoil, wide spray pattern as range increases

Between each discharge of the firearms ensure /clearevidence is used (edited)

Pump Shotgun - 12 gauge

- Allow each trainee to discharge 3x shots (controlled 1 shot at a time) of shotgun the from the furthest block (25m)

- Observe the spray patterns and discuss damage to the targets

- Allow each trainee to discharge 3x shots(in quick sucession) of shotgun the from the closest block (25m)

- Observe the spray patterns and discuss damage to the targets

Between each discharge of the firearms ensure /clearevidence is used

Optimal Use case: Short range doors, stairwells and corners

Optimal range - upto 20m

TTK: 2 direct hits

Move to Airport

Scenarios Guidelines

- 1x Full vest per excercise

- Do not revest

- Do not bandage or IFAK

- Full health and Armor for the next Scenario

- You can use either of the Class 2 Weapons

- Send 311 to disregardshots fired Airport

- Ensure its lead by one of them

- Treat as you would on the field, follow SOPs

2x runs at airport hanger west side (10012)

- 3x S.W.A.T Officers holding

- 1x S.W.A.T Officer Observing / in the pushing team

- 4x Trainees pushing the scenario (Push lead by one of them, this is rotated per scenario)

Ask them for feedback then provide our observations.

2x Scenario corridor push round from the west side Hanger (10018)

- 4x S.W.A.T Officers holding

- 1x S.W.A.T Officer Observing / in the pushing team

- 4x Trainees pushing the scenario (Push lead by one of them, this is rotated per scenario)
