MDT Usage

Report written to a good standard, evidence collected and filed in the correct place.

- Detailed report written with description of key events – A overview from start to finish what happened on the active, no use of police codes, officers involved included and time and fines given shown. 30%

- Evidence added to the report and filed correctly – Necessary evidence collected and added to the correct place in report and filed once finished. 10%

- Profile checking/ warrants / licenses/ fingerprint/ photo – Ensure the suspect has a photo on log, takes their fingerprints, charges for any active warrants are applied, and necessary licenses are removed. 20%

- Searching – Ensure suspect is searched on arrest and researched before removing cuffs in the cells. 10%

- Treatment of suspect/ etiquette – Ensure the suspect has had their rights read to them, and the ability to speak to a suspect in a professional manor. 30%
